From placing an order at Rowan Optical to taking delivery at your door: four clear actions.
Choose
Each entry lists temple length, eye size, bridge width, and frame materials. Compare dimensions, review customer notes, and place the frame in your cart.
Order
Pay the courier in cash or submit a bank transfer. We send an email with your order number immediately.
Dispatch
Orders placed before the cutoff leave the bench the same business day, packed and transferred to an insured courier with tracking.
Use and return
Wear your frames daily. If the fit does not work, return the pair within 30 days under the terms on our Returns page.
Our bench standards
Mazzucchelli Cellulose Acetate and Beta-Titanium
Frames cut from plant-derived Italian acetate and paired with Japanese titanium temples. The materials hold adjustment and resist skin oils.
Five-Barrel German Hinges
Milled stainless steel hinges riveted directly into the acetate core. They maintain arm tension across months of folding.
Individual Bench Alignment
Each assembled frame sits on a four-point levelling plate before packing. We verify temple parallelism and hinge torque manually.
Protective Hard Case Dispatch
Shipped in a rigid aluminium-reinforced clamshell box with dense foam inserts. Orders ship tracked to your door.
Common questions
What optical lenses come fitted in the Rowan frame?
The frame comes fitted with CR-39 optical polymer lenses coated with an anti-reflective, hydrophobic, and anti-scratch surface. The clear lenses offer balanced refractive clarity for close reading, screens, and detailed indoor tasks.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept cash on delivery and direct bank transfer. If you choose cash on delivery, you pay the courier upon receipt of your parcel. If you choose bank transfer, our account details appear on the invoice for payment before release.
When does daily dispatch take place?
Orders confirmed before 14:00 on working days pass final bench inspection and dispatch that afternoon. Orders placed after 14:00 transfer to the next business day.
